The works of the two young photographers of Lecce will embellish our Gallery throughout the month of April, every day (except Tuesday) from 7.00 pm until the closing of the Circolo Eutopia Arci.
During the inauguration live performance of the singer-songwriter Vincenzo Maggiore, who will present his new album - From which world is world ...-.
ARTISTS ON DISPLAY
MARTINA LOIOLA, twenty-six years old, from Lecce. He carries the camera from a very young age, following in his father's footsteps. In photography he finds the ideal way to talk about himself, freeing himself from the incapacity of words and letting his thoughts flow freely between lines and angles, between blues and yellows, from the depths of the melancholy waters of the sea to the sky where he finds himself and clouds himself.
With the power of light, he recounts his travels on the ground, for the soul of the people with whom he weaves relationships and for the notes in which the artists dissolve in the spotlight of a stage, succeeding in what remains his goal: to keep with him his very personal perfect moment, forever.
It already stands out for its narrative style, simple, clean, direct. He collaborates with various artistic realities and musical authors.
ILENIA TESORO, was born in lecce in 1992. He began to photograph thanks to his grandfather who, as a child, gave her his first camera, from that moment he began to discover the instrument first and then to learn the language and the expression of light.
His style is influenced by the poetics of written words, narrated, poetry as a design of sharp shadows, thus rediscovering in photography the unique means through which to enclose all his interests, representing them through the method of writing light that he always searches for in every framing making it the true protagonist of his photos.
To date, he has carried out several personal researches in the portrait and is the author of several photo reports for events and festivals.
LIVE MUSIC
VINCENZO MAGGIORE, born in Mesagne, already knows the big stage: he opened the concerts of Max Gazzè, Simona Molinari, Zibba, Samuele Bersani, Nomadi and accompanied Mario Venuti during the festival Yeahjasì BPF 2016. He followed him to festivals and competitions where has participated throughout the national territory. His first album, Via di Escape, was born after having successfully completed a crowdfunding project in 2013. In the studio, 26 musicians and the busker Matteo Terzi -Sol distinction - took part.
Among the other collaborations he boasts the one with the American rapper Ben Barbic with whom he wrote the song -Il paradiso intorno-. He has recorded two songs for "La carovana delle merende", a record project by Paola Petrosillo and Vito De Lorenzi for children. He accompanied the singer Lighea in the 2010 and 2011 tours for the squares of Central and Southern Italy. He has also won several prizes including - Bruno Lauzi Prize - in 2016 and - Arezzo Wave - for two editions, those of 2015 and 2016 and Sanremo Rock 2008 with the band - Distance trials -.
