ACQUASUMARTE live

Eutopia Arci

For the review "The words are not finished" at the EUTOPIA Arci club in via Montecassino in Galatina the group: ACQUASUMARTE live start 21:00

Four years after the first album "Torniamo presto" (2014), the 100% Pugliese ACQUASUMARTE musical project was born in 2007 by Vincenzo Aversa and from 2010 became a full-fledged group with many live performances, keeps his promise and in April 2018, he publishes the second album "Vivere non si può" with DischiUappissimi.

In its homogeneous structure with arrangements and lyrics of the songs substantially related to one another, "Vivere non si può", re-evaluates the concept of album and approaches the idea of concept as a coherent and unitary work typical of the mid-1960s .
The new seven unreleased tracks are far removed from the sounds and themes that characterized the beginning of the project and then the group's journey from the first important performances to the Dirockato Festival, Giovinazzo Rock Festival, Buco Bum Festival and Arrhythmia Mediterranea to name a few, until more recent at the Farm Festival, Cellamare Music Festival and Cinzella Festival.
In this new work, the acoustic guitar gives way to the electric and the keyboards, in the previous disc ("Let's be back soon") just mentioned, this time under the hands of Antonio Conte, become definitely protagonists completely replacing the saxophone.
The rhythm section with Francesco Todisco on drums and the new entry Federico Caramia on the bass becomes more robust and incisive.
The texts of Aversa, supported by a more sought after and nervous sung, abandon the most intimate and personal themes to orient themselves with renewed passion and spirit of denunciation towards social issues.

All the songs of the album, recorded, mixed and mastered by Fabrizio "Faco" Convertini, first at "LeDune Recording" and then at "Giungla" by Martina Franca, are supported by the collaboration of important musicians such as Bale Bulatovic, historical icon of Balkan rock (electric guitar in the songs "Vivere non si può" and "La vita non è vita"), Sebastiano Lillo (resonator guitar in the song "This country"), Ronny Gigante in art Gigante and already bassist of the band Mustache Prawn (ukulele and choirs in the song "Hai ragione tu") and Luciano D'Arienzo, former guitarist of the band Vegetable G (electric guitar in the song "Vecchia musica").

The captivating yet elegant disk artwork is the work of Giuseppe Sciorsci.
