Tripio Court – Zimara street

- Alleys, mignans, arches and ancient walls - via Zimara

Tripio Court – Zimara street

Accessing Corte Tripio, one enters a long and narrow little road that leads to a series of blind alleys that in depth, opening up into wider spaces, give rise to small and characteristic courtyards. These are embellished with mignani like the one at the corner of Palazzo Scrimieri or some decorations on the doors or windows of the simplest homes. At the end of this lane, a Catalan Durazzan arch with barrel vaults leads to an open space where modest housing units face a courtyard that is enclosed on one side by the sixteenth-century boundary walls of the ancient Galatian feud.
