Courtyard – Nicolò Ferrando Street

Nicolò Ferrando Street is that stretch of road that connects Piazza Arcudi to Via P. Siciliani. It is dotted with numerous alleys that lead to private spaces and particularly characteristic multi-family courtyards. These areas are often introduced by rusticated portals, alcove balconies, sober parapets, carrai covered by barrel vaults and by mignani that almost constantly lost their original function because they were overwhelmed by the elevations that occurred over the years that compromised the possibility, to the observer who is not very skilled and willing to reconstruct the charm and originality of those places.
