Cadura Court – Cavour Street

Cadura Arch represents the driveway with barrel vaults leading into the courtyard to which the same name was given. It develops along a narrow alley in which numerous doors and windows alternate asymmetrically. The alley then widens slightly into an area where more houses face into the shared space where even today the typical elements of these housing solutions can be found. The well, the pile and the various mignani, no longer integral in their original structure and function, impose their presence making this court an exemplary testimony of the domestic building of this city because it contains all the essential characteristics.
