L'esperienza del flamenco andaluso

Circolo Levèra

Levèra hosts an event that embraces other cultures. Tommy Manfredi, musicologist, teacher and musician from Puglia, will make us savor the Hispanic culture starting from Flamenco. Via Bellini 24, Noha, Galatina. 21:00

There will be two stages on this journey.

In the afternoon, from 18.00 to 20.00, a workshop will bring us closer to the rhythms of Andalusian flamenco through the use of the hands, the palmas, an art that is learned from an early age and which is carefully handed down by the Andalusian generations and by the families of musicians flamenco.
The workshop is aimed at an audience between 0 and 99 years old and will be held with a minimum number of 10 participants.

At 9.00 pm Manfredi, through the notes of a flamenco 'black' guitar and the verses of great poetics such as Federico Garcia Lorca, will tell us and sing the Andalusian story. A way to make known the greatness and variety of styles that belong to this mysterious and passionate world. A journey to understand that music flows and mixes seamlessly.

Entrance with Arci card.

Levèra: an etymology that means to raise, to lift, to support, to pry, to blow . A strong wind rises and blows from the suburbs. A wind of inclusion, of rebirth, of possibility, of trust.
