CHIARA PAPA: musician with a capital D (to quote the singer), graduated in classical guitar, graduated cum laude in Music Disciplines at the Conservatory -Tito Schipa- of Lecce, in Music Education at the conservatory -Nino Rota- of Monopoli but also engaged in constant research in the world of ethnomusicology and improvisation.
Her latest album, (women) is a collection of stories, a cauldron of tales that come from the past and faraway lands. They are voices of extraordinary women, personifications of female archetypes (the Mother, the Warrior, the Martyr, the Lover) who have marked and continue to mark the universal history, the life of every human being. (women) is an invitation to feel reality with all the senses, to realize that the whole Universe speaks to the female and that the female is in everything, in each of us: the air, the rain, the homeland, they are the breath of two lovers, the tears of a martyr.
