We will visit the Basilica of Santa Caterina di Alessandria in Galatina, the most important monument for painting by Giotto and Sienese school in Southern Italy, through the history of its patrons and the protagonists of those years: Raimondello Del Balzo Orsini, Queen Maria D'Enghien , Ladislao D'Angiò.
A journey through the great beauty of a region that always amazes, and that always gives emotions and always manages to fascinate.
The tour, conducted by Elvino Politi, is reserved for a limited number of visitors. The participation fee is € 5 per person (free for under 10 years), with reservations required. Meeting in Galatina, piazzetta Orsini, at 3:30 pm on Sunday 3 February.
