The Municipality of Galatina organizes an information meeting on the national measure to combat poverty Citizenship Income at the Ex Convent of the Poor Clares in P. Galluccio from Saturday 10 February, from 10:00.
The legislation defines the RdC as an active labor policy measure to guarantee the right to work, to combat poverty, inequality and social exclusion. In the event that the beneficiaries are people aged 67 or over, the Rdc is called Citizenship Pension (PdC). In line with previous measures, such as the SIA and the REI, the RdC consists of an economic benefit paid monthly through an electronic card (RdC Card). The enjoyment of the benefit is bound to adherence to a personalized path of accompaniment to work or social inclusion.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Galatina M.P. AMANTE, the Ass. to Social and Inclusion Policies A. PALUMBO, the Regional Councilor of the M5S A. TREVISI, the Councilor of the Municipality of Galatina P. PULLI, the South Area Manager of CPI S. ASTORE, the Navigators of the CPI of Galatina D.C. BITONTI, V. MATERE, R.E. VERGARI and the Coordinator of the RdC Team, Municipality of Galatina A. L. MARINELLO.
The Councilor for Social Policies dr. A. PALUMBO declares that the implementation of the Measure is made possible thanks to the team work of all the Services involved with particular reference to the PUA Professional Social Secretariat Service, the S.P.I.O.L. , the Immigration Service with Access Welfare, the Professional Social Service, the administrative staff and registry operators. It also underlines the fruitful and long collaboration with the Galatina Employment Center, also involved in the implementation of the Measure for the part relating to the application of the path to work.
