For the seventh consecutive year, Sunday 13 October, the Pietro Cavoti Civic Museum will join the Museum's Family Day, the national event that invites museums from all over Italy to organize educational visits, themed games and special initiatives dedicated to the Family.
The leitmotif of this seventh edition will be C'ERA UNA VOLTA AT THE MUSEUM, the FAMu audience will be presented with the art of "Storytelling", a tool of particular and effective cultural mediation.
The Cavoti museum for the occasion will organize a truly special day where stories of works, places, passionate artists and dreamers will be told. Si -racconerà- by Pietro Cavoti, by Gaetano Martinez and the history of the Palazzo della Cultura, in a joyful and festive atmosphere.
Guided tours, movies and fun games will be organized, all designed to allow small users and their families to enjoy pleasant moments and at the same time to make the immense historical and artistic heritage of the Cavoti museum and of the city of Galatina known and appreciated. .
Alongside the Department of Culture and the Bibliomuseale Pole, Councilor Cristina Dettù, promoters of the initiative are the Libermedia / services and training for Cultural Heritage, the managing subject of the museum, the Club for UNESCO of Galatina, FAMu.
After the success and the adhesions collected in the previous years, we kindly ask all the families who want to spend at the Cavoti on FAMU Sunday, to book free participation by Wednesday 9 October, in order to ensure an adequate order service, taken care of by the volunteers of the Civil Service of the In Reading 2017 project and above all to ensure a pleasant use of the organized activities.
