LUIGI FRACASSO Italian pianist, was born in Galatina (Le) and completed his musical studies at the State Music Conservatory -T. Schipa- of Lecce, achieving the Piano Diploma with top marks. He specialized with the masters Michele Marvulli in Bari, Lya De Barberiis and Sergio Perticaroli in Rome and Marcella Crudeli at the École Normale de Musique -A. Cortot- of Paris. For chamber music he was an effective student in the ensemble music class of maestro Riccardo Brengola, at the Chigiana Music Academy of Siena.
He was the winner of numerous national and international competitions.

Founder and artistic director of the prestigious concert season of Salento - The Concerts of the Cloister - now in its twentieth edition, it holds master classes and is regularly invited to serve on juries in National and International Piano Competitions.
