The 5th MEMORIAL Valentino Romano is called -THE MUSIC: MY PLANET-, in honor of this great Master.
A virtuous and imaginative musician, a member of the SIAE as a composer, transcriber and melodist, Maestro Valentino Romano has composed numerous pieces of music and study tracks for the Berben and Curci editions.
Trained and performed in numerous orchestras and events in Italy, France and Switzerland, he has collaborated with artists such as M ° Tony De Vita (conductor and author of many musical pieces, such as the Italian theme song of the soap opera When you love) and he played in the orchestra of Memo Remigi and Iva Zanicchi (known Italian singers-musicians). He also collaborated with Paolo Frescura (Italian singer-songwriter author of the famous song Bella dentro) composing various songs with him.
In the 70s he settled in Galatina where he opened the FARMUSICA school, transmitting the art of playing to children, teenagers and adults for over forty years.
Accordionist, guitarist, keyboardist, ..., the feature that has always distinguished him is improvisation and musical flair, preferring jazz and playing the accordion with a French style, among the various musical genres.
It will be an evening full of important guests and musicians, of exciting memories of Maestro Valentino Romano, during which the students of the FARMUSICA school will also perform.
