The event for environmental sustainability and the preservation of our planet will take place according to the following program:
- 9.30 am: arrival of school groups in St. Peter's Square and procession around Piazza Alighieri with return to St. Peter's Square;
- interventions by representatives of the Municipal Council of Girls and Boys and awareness on the issue of the elimination of the use of disposable plastic by Legambiente La Poiana (Circolo di Galatina) and TappiAmo Galatina with point for the withdrawal of the corks of plastic.
- Celebrate this day (declares Edoardo De Pascalis, Mayor of Girls and Boys) has an important value, especially for our young generations who find themselves at the center of current climate change. Precisely for this reason, as directors - young - of the City of Galatina, together with the Adult Administration, we intend to give a symbolic signal of safeguarding our environment, through the march made by all the institutes of the City.-
