Daniele Cassioli, the multi-award-winning Paralympic water-ski champion, will present his book -Il vento contro- (published by De Agostini) in Galatina (Palazzo della Cultura) and recount his extraordinary adventure.

Sport in the veins, in the muscles, in the heart. There where the passion is authentic, in the middle of the chest that dictates the rhythm of every gesture and every dream, there is the greatness of Daniele Cassioli, the multi-award winning Paralympic water skiing champion who counts 22 world titles, 25 Europeans and 35 Italians. With his contagious smile he will dialogue in Salento with some students and anyone who wants to meet him on the next 27th and 28th February. In particular, on February 27th he will present his book "Il vento contro" (published by De Agostini) in Galatina and will tell about his extraordinary adventure.
On the 28th he will meet some students in Gallipoli.
Not blind since his birth, at almost 33 years he has grasped the meaning of life that overcomes every barrier and aims at happiness even when the limits seem insurmountable.
Attentive to social dynamics, is particularly linked to children for whom often organizes various initiatives and activities, thanks to the collaboration of Sestero Onlus, an association that knows disability and helps to live with the treasure that is able to give, a sensitivity and a force that must be discovered and put to good use.
An important appointment and an exceptional opportunity to get in touch with a world that not everyone knows, but that actually belongs to each of us.
