The Bimbulanza is the first pediatric ambulance in southern Italy, the purchase of which the citizens of Galatina participated in with numerous and different charitable events. The project, strongly desired and carried out by Don Gianni Mattia and his Heart and Open Hands Association O.d.V., was born with the intent to lighten the journey of the little guests who, in case of need, can be transported in the various clinical journeys between different hospitals. The real novelty, which makes this initiative and the whole project special, always in debt of funds for its survival, is the presence on the Bimbulance of a volunteer clown who among smiles, games and colors, gladdens the stay on the vehicle of the little passengers.
